Take on the 6×6 Challenge and

holiday-proof your fitness level!

The 6×6 Challenge is a 6 week fitness challenge that leverages our Basecamp group fitness program (currently running at our Avondale, Uptown, and Block 37 locations) to keep you motivated, connected, and making progress toward your fitness goals. Complete 6 objectives over 6 weeks, and we’ll help you kick off your holiday season right with a group adventure, plus a chance to win some great prizes!

ALL finishers of the 6×6 challenge will receive:

  • A turkey (or tofurkey) and holiday cookie proof level of fitness
  • An invitation to a group adventure (awesome activity TBD) with other Basecampers to kick off the holiday season
  • Free Basecamp t-shirt or FA Logo t-shirt
  • Entry into a raffle to win great prizes including a $100 AirBNB gift card, a $100 REI Gift Card, a free month of Basecamp, and more!


Here are the 6 objectives you must completed over 6 weeks to finish the 6×6 Challenge:

  • Objective 1: Complete a baseline fitness assessment during a Basecamp session (complete by Wednesday October 23rd)
  • Objective 2: Set a fitness goal and commit to one healthy nutrition change that you’ll stick with for all 6 weeks of the challenge (complete by Wednesday October 23rd)
  • Objective 3: Complete Basecamp workouts at least 2x/week for 6 weeks (if you’re traveling for part of the challenge, let your Basecamp coach know and we’ll assign alternate workouts while you’re out of town)
  • Objective 4: Follow @firstascentfitness on Instagram and post at least one photo or video of a workout, your Basecamp squad, or a progress update tagged with #FA6x6challenge (Don’t use Instagram? Let us know and we’ll give you an alternate assignment here)
  • Objective 5: Bring a friend to do a Basecamp workout with you for free (friend must not already be a Basecamp member)
  • Objective 6: Complete a final fitness assessment and survey to evaluate your progress and share your 6×6 Challenge experience (complete by Wednesday November 27th)

The 6×6 Challenge runs October 14-November 22. You must sign up by October 18 to join.

  • Includes a full First Ascent membership from October 14-November 22, with access to all FA locations with climbing, yoga classes, and fitness equipment
  • Also includes a 6-week Basecamp Membership and enrollment in the 6×6 Challenge
  • Join Basecamp sessions at 3 FA locations: Avondale, Uptown, and Block 37
